ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI. TO REVEAL NEXT CLUB

According to Polish television host Mateusz Borek,
Robert Lewandowski – who is currently with German
club Borussia Dortmund – will reveal which club he will
be joining next on January 2nd. Borek took to Twitter to
reveal the news just after Lewandowski appeared on his
TV show 'Football Café' making the Poles tweet even
more believable.
Lewandowski's current deal at Borussia Dortmund is set
to expire at the end of the season, meaning the the
Polish international striker is free to sign a pre-contract
agreement with another club from January 1st, when the
winter trasnfer window opens. Bookmakers have had
Bayern Munich down as favourites to land Lewandowski
for some time now but the player has never confirmed
this is where he would like to play next, leaving many
speculating where the forward will be plying his trade
next season.
Europe’s elite have shown interest in signing
Lewandowski and he has previously been linked with
moves to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid
but right now all signs are pointing to a club closer to
home in the Bundesliga.

REMEMBER HIM RICARDO QUARESMA MOVES TO FC PORTO


The 30-year-old winger has moved back to Porto on a
free transfer from the Egyptian side Al Ahly. He has
already attended his first training with the team on New
Year’s Day with over 10 thousand fans applauding him.
Quaresma is delighted with his return to Portugal. “I am
glad to be back home. It is very important to be in place
where you are happy. I know I can count on people’s
trust and support here,” the player said.
“It is a great pride to wear Porto shirt. I want to thank
the club’s president Jorge Nino Pinto and coach Paulo
Fonseca for faith they have in me. I will do my best with
great performances to repay them for their trust,” the
Portuguese added.
Quaresma was Porto player in years 2004-2008. He
scored 42 goals in 114 performances for “The Dragons”.
He has also played in Sporting CP, Barcelona, Chelsea,
Inter Milan and Besiktas throughout his career.

The ex-Manchester United striker, who was formerly in
charge of Norwegian outfit Molde, replaces Malky
Mackay, who was sacked late last month.
City released a statement on their official website, which
said: "Cardiff City Football Club are delighted to
announce that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has joined the club
as first team manager.
"Following discussions with Vincent Tan and club
chairman Mehmet Dalman, Ole, joining Cardiff City from
Molde FK, today met with his new squad at the Vale
training ground and will soon be unveiled to the press
at Cardiff City Stadium."

SUAREZ HAS £120 MILLION BUYOUT CLAUSE

Liverpool legend Ian Rush can see Luis Suarez being
sold in the summer - for £120 million.
Rush revealed that Suarez's new contract carries a £120
million buyout clause.
"If we don't qualify for the Champions League he can
leave, provided a club make an offer according to the
player's value," the 53-year-old told Tuttosport. "When
we renewed Luis' contract, we put in a clause of £120m.
"If Gareth Bale went to Real Madrid for £86m, why
should we not ask more for Suarez?"

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER SET TO SIGN MAN UTD REJECT FOR CARDIFF

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to turn up the heat on
Manchester United boss David Moyes as soon as he
takes his place at Cardiff City.
One of Solskjaer's first pieces of business as Cardiff
manager will be to return to Molde and sign Mats Daehli.
The 18 year-old midfield schemer left United in the
summer after spending over two years in the club's
youth system.
Daehli has been likened to Barcelona icon Xavi and the
decision to offload him by Moyes was a surprise last
year.

ARSENAL SET TO SIGN. FULHAM'S BERBATOV

Arsenal are ready to slap in a bid for Fulham striker
Dimitar Berbatov.
The Sun says Arsenal are closing in on a shock
£2million swoop for Dimitar Berbatov.
It is reported that Arsene Wenger wants the Fulham
striker to boost his attacking options after Nicklas
Bendtner suffered an injury against Cardiff yesterday,
with first-choice frontman Olivier Giroud also currently
sidelined.
Berbatov is off contract in June and still a wanted man
for Cottagers boss Rene Meulensteen.

MAN CITY TRAILING ANOTHER NIGERIA U17 STAR

Manchester City are taking a look at a second Nigerian
U17 World Cup star.
City are finalising an agreement for Kelechi Iheanacho
and the Daily Mail says are also in talks for his Nigeria
teammate Chidibere Nwakali.
The wing-back is from the Shuttle Sports Academy in
Lagos.
Nwakali is a left-sided midfielder who can also play
behind the striker or as a left-back. He is due to fly to
England with his parents tomorrow for talks in the hope
of concluding a dream transfer to City.

Essien set to leave Chelsea-Agent


The agent of Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has
opened the door to a move to Italy this month.
Fabien Piveteau has confirmed Essien will leave Stamford
Bridge during the winter market.
He told TMW : "He will leave Chelsea . He wants to play
more and after an interview with José Mourinho has
taken this decision."
"I can exclude Bastia, he will not go there."
Italy may be a realistic goal?
"Yes, the league is important and therefore I do not rule
out Serie A, although I must say that at this time there
are no contacts.
"We have so far preferred not to listen to any request
until meeting with Mourinho."
