Real Madrid to train at Etihad stadium

Real Madrid have taken the unusual step of
confirming they will hold their training
session ahead of Tuesday's Champions
League clash Manchester United at
Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, reports
The Independent.
It is part of tournament regulations that
competing teams must make part of their
pre-match session open to the media.
Yesterday it was confirmed that Real would
remain in Spain for their final preparations.
However, those plans have now been
altered.
But instead of using Old Trafford as their
training venue, manager Jose Mourinho has
chosen the Etihad Stadium instead.
No explanation has been offered for why
Real are choosing to train at City.

Chelsea playets stunned by Terry.Benitez clash.

Chelsea skipper John Terry and Rafa Benitez
have clashed in training, it has been
revealed.
The Sun says the bust-up sparked just
before training at the club’s Cobham
complex.
Benitez called the players into a circle to
discuss Sunday’s damaging loss to
Manchester City.
He expressed his dismay at the 2-0 reverse
and he performance of the team and he
asked the players for their reaction to the
loss.
Terry, who was dropped for the game,
spoke out and the discussion quickly
escalated into a row between the pair.
A witness said: “It all kicked off between JT
and Benitez as their frustrations over
Sunday boiled over into a big bust-up.”

I am not your player-MBA to Warri wolves

Super Eagles AFCON 2013 hero,Sunday Mba
has distanced himself from the claims of
Warri Wolves over who owns his signature
by stating that he has long fulfilled his
contractual obligation to the club,according
to kickoffnigeria.com.
"We were four players that left Warri Wolves
before the Nations Cup. Why is it that I am
the only one they are bothering? The truth
of the matter is that I have no contract with
Wolves," Mba declared.
The 24-year-old did not however clarify the
position of things between him and
Rangers.
In the past week there have been conflicting
claims in the media, with both Enugu
Rangers and Warri Wolves claiming
ownership of the player.Mba had camped,
trained and played in a few friendly matches
with Rangers for some months before he
was named in Stephen Keshi's provisional
squad for the Nations Cup in December, and
Rangers claim that Mba, who has had two
previous stincts with them, is still their
player, as he was only loaned out to
Dolphins in 2010, and that his subsequent
sale by Dolphins to Warri Wolves is invalid as
they did not sanction the sale.
"We don’t have to start joining issues with
Warri Wolves on who owns Sunday Mba. Any
contractual agreement of a player is with
the state FA, and that is Delta state FA. Like
when Mba joined Rangers from Enyimba, he
was duly registered in Enugu FA and his
papers are still on my table,"
Enugu State FA boss Chidi Okenwa says.
"Even his loan deal to Dolphin was duly
documented.”

Man utd Rafael explains why he has being wearing Fabio's boot

Manchester United fullback Rafael da Silva
has explained why he's been wearing the
boots of twin brother Fabio, currently on-
loan at QPR.
TV cameras closed in on Rafael’s footwear
during Manchester United’s win at Fulham
earlier this month and focused on the name
“Fabio” stitched into the leather.
“I have been doing that for a while,” said
Rafael. “It’s because they [Nike] send the
boots to the training ground at Carrington.
Our kit man said, ‘Ah, your brother’s boots
are here’. So I said, ‘I will play with them’. I
started using them and had some good
games so I said, ‘let’s stick with them’.”
